Luwei is a local ( Singapore) Christian Arts performing group. It's been established

for 22 yrs already.Drama  is the mainly production. It 's a creative ways to worship

our Almighty God.

Pinky 今日參加了由SPCA 舉辦的Pet's Carnival. Pinky 第一次見大場面,

被嚇到"藤藤震". 今日除了能與其他狗狗social 外, 還有狗狗

技藝表演看啊!

音樂圖書館 @ Esplanade

每次到City Hall, 必到Library @Esplanade, 俗稱" 榴槤殼" 的建築物.

3rd floor 的 Library 藏有成千上萬本Score , 音樂資料書, CDs, DVDs 等等.

現在新加坡除了發展經濟, 高科技外, 還有體育, 音樂和藝術. 以下是一道

途經Esplanade 的 藝術長廊, 每月都會更換牆上的藝術品.

各類書籍, CDs..等, 也有很多中文書籍, 是政府購買和市民捐贈的. 資源

豐富, 還設有Photocopy Machine, 從前學音樂的人, 經常要買很多琴譜, 但往往

無時間彈完一整本, 有了這音樂圖書館, 喜愛彈那一曲便找那一曲, 年中省下

不少買書費用, 一首曲可以找到幾個editions 來對比, it's good for music analysis.

日復日的買書, 我家也有一個音樂圖書館了, 如果日後無人繼承我的書籍遺產,

我打選捐贈到這間圖書館, 來報答這圖書館多年來供給我的資源.  因為這裡,

我愛住在新加坡.

這本書值得一看, 由著名Pianist Alfred Brendel 分析他個人對不同Composers

的見解, Mozart, Beethovan, Schubert...Chopin  etc... 我認為Mozart 那一篇說

得好.." people always underestimation of Mozart's sonatas works for reflection. It's too

simple for children, too difficult for artists." 他認為Rubinstein 所說的, "Strange, that one 

usually gives to children to play! One should give his music to the big, fully grown

children."  我個人認為Yes!!! It's  absolutely true! Children might not truly understand

the music if they are too young.

琉璃所愛 (renew)

這對石頭公仔, 是學生E 剛從韓國Jeju 濟洲買回來送給我的, 島上出名

有石頭, 海女, 活海產. 這對公公婆婆, 眼仔和鼻仔大大, 很可愛. 不知何

時起, 每次旅行我都會買玻璃小擺設作為紀念品, 不需要買多, 一件小玻

璃製品便夠了.

  

在遊澳洲和紐西蘭時買的.  袋鼠, Kiwi 鳥, 綿羊, 樹熊, Kiwi  鳥是紐西蘭

的特產.

好友送的水晶, 很喜歡很喜歡!

這是教師節收到禮物~玻璃鋼琴.

最愛中還有這個在希臘小島Santorini Island 買的手動小音樂盒, 播的是希臘

民族音樂. 還有在意大利Venice Murano Island 買的玻璃糖果.

 

 

就這樣進城

最近中東又"嘈嘈弊", 兩位阿 "伊" 成日都好麻煩. 今次因為伊朗有人疑似選舉

舞弊, 引起民眾反政府高潮. 我對這單新聞興趣不大, 始終是隔岸觀火. 心態不

會很投入, 但願也如此. 相對來說, 當年的美伊戰爭比較好看, 我喜歡看野史, 當

故事看, 一樂也.

回看野史, 伊拉克如何在1990年8月2日攻佔科威特? 我原以為伊拉克軍, 打鑼打

鼓入城, 一方面向全世界顯示自己武器的威力,  一方面造勢給科威特人看, 

查看資料, 誰知野心勃勃的撒達母做事那麼鬼祟, 選擇在全年最炎熱的8月

凌晨進城, 伊軍的先頭步隊還穿著科威特的軍服, 把裝甲車塗得像科威特軍車.

慘得過, 科威特哨兵又會誤以為是自己友, 大開中門讓他們進入, 原來科威特

整個國家人口只有200 萬人, 只有2萬正規兵, 其中一半軍官在當時走去避暑渡假

嘆世界, 沒理會伊拉克的威脅. 就算沒出遊剩下來的兵,有很多在休假, 加上科

威特兵平日訓練鬆散, 伊軍打來時, 根本無能力和毫無回擊之意, 科威特是石油

出產國全球第四位, 國民富庶, 可軍力超級薄弱, 當時大局以定, 科軍象徵式開了

數槍便放棄了. 於是伊軍不消數小時, 便長駒直入政府大樓, 皇宮, 電視台,

電台等公共設施, 有很多科威特人, 聽到煙火槍聲, 還不當作一回事, 繼續蓋頭大睡.

到了第二天, 科威特人還不知道政府已經變了天, 正常上班去.

這樣矇查查的小國, 真是野史上的一個笑話.

 

 

  

    

   

 

P仔來時吃什麼

益母草荷包蛋湯

益母草: 活血調經,止經痛,利水消腫 在P仔來時的第一天可飲用.

5gm 益母草和枸杞10gm 分別洗淨浸泡. 全部加入煲內,加蛋加糖煮滾即可.

益母草苦澀, 宜加糖喝.

 

菠菜豬肝湯

菠菜和豬肝都有豐富鐵質,補充經期所失

 

枸杞蒸魚

魚含蛋白質, 溫潤明目, 不帶刺激性

薑棗甜茶

P仔來時至結束當茶飲

老薑20gm, 紅棗20gm, 清水750gm, 紅糖20gm, 全部煮滾  

 

 

 

 

 

Royce' chocolate

Takashimaya basement 有間Royce' 朱古力專賣店, 賣的是日本札幌

朱古力, 朋友極力推薦下, 買來一試, 味道果然一流, 我買了champagne chocolate,

酒味淡但牛奶味濃和質感軟滑, 即使放雪櫃數天質感依然, 不會硬. 喜愛日本人

的做事態度和服務週到, 為了照顧長時間shopping的customer, 該公司會奉送

ice-pack 和 aluminium foil 袋給顧客, 繼而可在外保存chocolate 5個小時.  

  

 內附有棒棒.

Pinky 也想吃, 但狗狗是絕不能吃chocolate的, 對我們來說是美食, 但對 

牠們來說是劇毒, 於是, 無論Pinky 怎樣搖頭擺尾, 笑得怎樣可愛,  我都硬起心

腸, 不給她吃.

Singapore Farm Visit 2

Today I visited Lim Chu kang Farm sites again. This time went there with 2 pretty ladies.Fei and Cynthia. Because these 2 ladies couldn't put up with the hot weather, we just pop in 2 farm sites only... Goat farm and Aero-gas farm. I still want to see frog farm and organic veggies farm actually. Looking forward to them in next time...!  

All goat milked mechanically, manual milking is not allowed in Singapore for hygienic reason.

Each goat has 2 breasts and nipples while cow has 4 (b&n).  They can produce 4 L milk/ day. Cows can produce 20 L milk/day. Such a huge difference, no wonder goat milk costs more expensive. S$2 /200ml. The life of goat is supposed to be 12 years while their milking life is only for 10 years. Cuz, same as human, if they give birth at an old age, the kids "baby goat" might get troublesome diseases. So the farm stop their sexual life after at their 10 years of age.  

They 're pumping the raw milk from the goat mother. Then the milk must send to pasteurize before packing. 

After the goat died, their meat is not allowed to sell in public in Singapore. The government will buy it for hospital as for medical experiment and research instead. What the mutton is actually comes from sheep not from goat. Besides, goat meat is very expensive... S$80/ 100kg.

* Remember cow milk and goat milk should be drink seperately at least for 1 hour.Cuz goat milk is alkaline while cow milk is acidic. They can't be mixed, otherwise, it will cause diarrhoea. *

This farm owner is very considerate, providing a playground for kids.
